D W Hicks Building wins at the Leicestershire ProCon awards

D W Hicks Building Company came away from this years Leicestershire Property and Construction awards having won the prize for best Small Non-Residential Scheme.

The winning project designed for the Royal Agricultural Society of England consisted of the construction of a Rugby Club Pavilion with adjoining function rooms and offices as well as surrounding landscaping in Oakham, Rutland.

The building which contains six state-of-the-art changing rooms is built  on a combination of traditional foundations and includes under floor heating  within the main function room.

The main envelope is of traditional build with steel framing used in the function rooms to achieve the stunning open spaces and open roof.
